Mrs. Delphine was a very patient, reassuring, and helpful Counselor. In 2010, I had a severe palsy that led to the near-total loss of muscle function in the right half of my body. I was diagnosed with a rare genetic auto-immune disease that was attacking my organs slowly. Since then, I had been trying to apply for Disability or any other public assistance on my own. But I was denied, over and over again. I became disillusioned and depressed.
Eventually, with the support and encouragement of family and friends, I was encouraged to seek representation. I found an organization of Disability lawyers, and Mrs. Delphine was recommended. She was a godsend!
I had missed deadlines, doctor appointments, deadlines, and disability hearings. I felt constantly afraid and overwhelmed. But with Mrs. Delphine’s expertise, help, and encouragement, I was able to sit through my hearings and make my deadlines. And I won!
I am so grateful to Mrs. Delphine and her staff. I am no longer dependent on my mother’s meager retirement income. She has helped me reach financial security.
